Job Description

Position Overview HOTWORX Northborough is seeking an energetic, sales-minded General Manager to lead our established 24/7 infrared fitness studio. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves developing people, delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving business growth, and taking ownership of results. We're looking for more than someone who can manage daily operations. Our ideal GM is proactive, organized, comfortable with accountability, and able to think strategically about how to strengthen the team, grow membership, improve retention, and continuously improve the studio. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, develop, and motivate the team to achieve individual and studio goals. Drive membership and retail sales, retention, referrals, and overall studio performance. Deliver an exceptional member and guest experience and resolve concerns effectively. Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll coordination, billing processes, inventory, cleanliness, and equipment readiness. Analyze sales performance, lead flow, closing percentages, outreach, and key business metrics and create action plans. Lead employee onboarding, training, staff meetings, and ongoing development. Support marketing, social media, promotions, community outreach, and local partnerships. Communicate regularly with the owners regarding priorities, progress, opportunities, and business needs. Qualifications Proven ability to coach, motivate, and build high-performing teams. Strong sales and customer-service mindset; sales or revenue-growth experience strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong judgment, follow-through, and personal accountability. Interest in health, fitness, and wellness, and helping others reach their goals. Fitness-industry experience is helpful but not required; strong leaders from hospitality, retail, membership sales, and other customer-facing sales environments are encouraged to apply. Schedule Full-time, on-site role; minimum 40 hours per week. Hours are aligned primarily with staffed studio hours: Monday-Thursday 11 AM-8 PM, Friday 9 AM-6 PM, Saturday 9 AM-2 PM. Flexibility is required to support staffing and studio needs.
