Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
Typical day:
Draft, format, and proof letters, pleadings, and real‑estate contracts. File in Maricopa County Superior Court and U.S. District Court using e‑filing portals (AZTurboCourt, CM/ECF). Track deadlines, maintain Rule 26.1 disclosure calendars, and schedule depositions and recordings. Back-up phones, client intakes, time entries, and monthly billing in TimeSolv. What you bring 3+ years as a legal secretary, legal assistant or paralegal (business or real‑estate experience preferred). Mastery of MS Word styles & redlining; solid Acrobat and Excel skills. Familiarity with Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure and local e‑filing requirements and deadlines. Impeccable grammar, keen eye for detail, and deadline‑driven mindset. Professionalism with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel. Notary commission, TimeSolv experience a bonus.
