Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Estate Paralegal to join our team focused primarily on existing client maintenance and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience working directly with clients across the country on estate plan updates and post-death trust administration, as well as general administrative support (phones, email, incoming and outgoing mail, collecting payment, etc.). This position will be onsite at our Scottsdale Corporate office. Duties and responsibilities Work directly with existing clients to answer questions, ascertain needs, and prepare trust amendments, updated powers of attorney, deeds, LLC/corporate documents, and other elements of a client's estate plan Work directly with and prepare post-death documents for trustees/beneficiaries during the post-death trust administration (and occasionally, probate) process Work directly with and support clients throughout the funding process Provide general administrative support such as answering phones, managing attorneys' emails, and assembling and mailing new clients' estate planning binders Draft new estate plan documents on an overflow basis to support the drafting paralegals as needed Be comfortable servicing most clients virtually across the country Qualifications Minimum 3 years estate planning experience drafting estate planning documents, updating estate plans, and handling post-death estate administration Exceptional interpersonal communication, with the ability to educate and support individuals during emotionally sensitive situations.
