Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting attorneys with primarily family law and including some estate planning and immigration law. Your energetic approach and exceptional organizational skills will ensure smooth case management, thorough legal research, and efficient document handling. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal support experience while contributing to impactful legal work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research using LexisNexis and other research tools across various practice areas such as civil litigation, personal injury, workers' compensation, and general & commercial litigation Manage case files and documents using various document management systems; ensure all records are accurate, organized, and accessible Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, correspondence, and procedural filings with precision and attention to detail Support client communication by scheduling interviews, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, and providing clear updates on case progress Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for case development Assist with court filings via electronic filing systems; track deadlines and ensure timely submissions Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and maintaining organized records to support efficient office operations Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and civil litigation support Strong knowledge of procedural law and legal research techniques using LexisNexis Familiarity with document review processes and legal drafting standards Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and filing Prior experience supporting attorneys in diverse legal practice areas including landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal regulations or patent law is highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional legal support.
