Job Description

Law Office of Paul Mankin is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing the day-to-day responsibilities of active litigation matters. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, manage deadlines, and support attorneys throughout the litigation process. Responsibilities Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts Coordinate and complete service of process and service of legal documents Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, hearings, and other important dates Assist with written discovery, including preparing, organizing, and tracking discovery requests and responses Conduct legal and case-related research Draft and prepare routine legal documents, correspondence, notices, and filings Organize and maintain electronic case files and supporting documentation Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and other parties as needed Assist attorneys with ongoing litigation and case management Monitor cases to ensure deadlines and required follow-up are completed timely Qualifications Prior experience working as a litigation paralegal Hands-on experience with court filing and e-filing Experience with service of legal documents Strong knowledge of litigation calendaring and deadline management Experience assisting with discovery Ability to conduct legal and factual research Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently while collaborating with attorneys and other members of the legal team Preferred Experience The following are strong pluses, but not required: Auto Fraud litigation Toxic Mold litigation Personal Injury litigation Handling Liens Spanish-speaking / bilingual We are looking for someone with real litigation experience who can step into the role and contribute quickly , while also becoming a long-term member of our team. 1.

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
