In this role, you will provide essential support to 6-8 attorneys and paralegals. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help streamline case management, facilitate client communication, and ensure the smooth operation of our legal processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal support expertise while contributing to impactful legal work in a high-volume environment. This role involves regular client interaction and a variety of administrative and case management tasks to ensure smooth legal operations and client service. Responsibilities Prepare and organize legal documents related to family law cases Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather information Manage case files and maintain accurate records File and organize legal documents to ensure easy retrieval Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for the legal team Provide general administrative support to legal staff Handle document pick-up and drop-off as required Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and emails Prepare and handle mail related to legal matters
• Prepare case summaries, timelines, and reports to assist attorneys in case preparation and strategy development. Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court dates, and document submissions Preferred Qualifications Entry-level experience in legal assistance Familiarity with document management and case management software Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Outlook Proficiency in Adobe PDF Reader and Editor Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
