Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join a legal team in Manchester, Connecticut on a Contract basis. In this role, you will provide dependable administrative and case support to attorneys and senior leadership while helping keep legal matters organized and on schedule. The position is well suited for someone who follows established procedures carefully, communicates professionally, and manages multiple priorities with accuracy. Strong written, research, and computer skills will be important for success in this fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to routine legal and administrative inquiries by gathering information, preparing clear follow-up, and directing matters to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain calendars, coordinate appointments, and help ensure deadlines, meetings, and legal milestones are tracked accurately.
  • Support client matters involving Medicaid and Social Security by organizing documentation, monitoring progress, and assisting with required correspondence.
  • Provide project-based assistance to the legal team as needs arise, helping attorneys and executives stay organized and informed.
  • Prepare, review, and format legal documents, summaries, and written materials in accordance with established office procedures.
  • Conduct research to support case activity, client matters, and general legal inquiries, and present findings in a concise written format.
  • Use case management and related software tools to maintain orderly records, update matter status, and track key case details.
  • Assist with litigation support activities such as discovery coordination, trial preparation, and file management when required.
