The North Palm Beach office of Vernis and Bowling is seeking an experienced paralegal for their Directors & Officers with focus on Condominium and Homeowners Association Law, Employment Law, and general litigation areas. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years experience as a litigation paralegalin insurance defense or civil litigation. Additional qualifications include the ability to prioritize work tasks, handle all aspects of discovery and be deadline oriented, communicative with co-workers in department, and familiar with state and federal litigation requirements. The candidate should also exhibit workplace professionalism, teamwork, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure. Critical to success is attention to detail, follow-through, accuracy, communication and organization. Excellent grammar and proof-reading skills required. We are looking for applicants who thrive in a team environment. Experience in Word, Juris, Aderant Total Office (ATO), and e-Copy Pro (Nuance) a plus.
