Full Job DescriptionClient is an AV-rated Maryland law firm with more than 40 attorneys and offices in Greenbelt and Rockville. We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to support two family law trial attorneys in our Rockville office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys handling complex family law and guardianship matters while serving as a key contributor to a small, collaborative, and high-performing team.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will play a central role in case management and litigation support, including:
Managing all phases of written discovery, including drafting, responding, organizing, and coordinating document productionOrganizing, reviewing, indexing, summarizing, and managing case documentsPreparing for depositions, hearings, settlement conferences, and trialsDrafting and coordinating discovery and trial subpoenasCommunicating with and supporting clients throughout the life of a caseCoordinating with expert witnesses and consultantsAssisting with prospective client intake and new client onboardingMaintaining case calendars, monitoring deadlines, and supporting overall case managementConducting legal, factual, and financial researchAssisting with cite checking, legal drafting, and preparation of motions, correspondence, and court filingsPreparing exhibits, trial notebooks, and litigation materialsSupporting family law and guardianship matters from case initiation through resolutionCollaborating with attorneys and staff as part of a small, high-performing team dedicated to excellence and client-centered representationQualificationsSignificant experience as a paralegal in Maryland family law mattersDemonstrated proficiency in litigation support, discovery management, and case administrationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to maintain strict confidentialityExperience managing large document collections and discovery projectsExperience with Maryland electronic court filings (MDEC)Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlinesStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/Pro, and legal technology platformsWillingness to learn new software (iManage, Litify, Family Law Software, Timeline Maker Pro)Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys, clients, experts, and staffPreferredFive or more years of Maryland family law experienceSeven or more years of paralegal experienceBachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificateExperience working with complex family law litigation mattersExperience analyzing financial records and preparing financial summaries and calculationsFamiliarity with case management and/or family law software (iManage, Litify, Family Law Software, Timeline Maker Pro)Experience mentoring or training junior team membersCharacteristics of the Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will:
