Personal Injury Paralegal Southfield, MI | Full-Time Are you an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal looking for a role where you can take real ownership of your cases and work closely with an established legal team? We are recruiting for a Personal Injury Paralegal to join a well-established Birmingham-area law firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the personal injury space, is comfortable managing a busy caseload, and enjoys being involved throughout the lifecycle of a case—from intake and pre-suit work through litigation and resolution. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of personal injury paralegal experience and have hands-on familiarity with Michigan PIP/no-fault claims. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll work closely with attorneys and clients across a variety of personal injury matters, including PIP/no-fault, third-party auto, slip and fall, and dog bite cases.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing and overseeing PIP/no-fault claims and related documentation Reviewing insurance policies, claim files, medical records, medical bills, EOBs, denials and payment reductions Communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, attorneys and other parties regarding claim status and outstanding issues Following up on unpaid, underpaid and denied PIP claims Preparing PIP demand packages, reconsideration requests, appeals and supporting documentation Drafting pre-suit demand letters Assisting attorneys with complaints, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, interrogatories and requests for production Coordinating medical records, bills, wage-loss documentation and other supporting evidence Tracking case deadlines, claim submissions, payments and correspondence Assisting with litigation, arbitration, hearing and trial preparation Maintaining accurate and organized case files and case management records Participating in client intake and interviewing prospective new clients What We're Looking For 2+ years of paralegal experience within personal injury law Experience with PIP/no-fault claims strongly preferred Strong understanding of personal injury case progression and litigation support Excellent organizational and case-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines without losing attention to detail Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with attorneys and the broader legal team Experience with legal case management technology; Filevine and/or Lead Docket experience is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity? Pay:

$58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
