If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.)
Job Location:
Division of Professional Registration, Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts, 3605 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109. This is an in-office position. Responsibilities - What you'll do Answer telephone calls and emails for the board's legal section. Prepare certified copies of board documents in accordance with sunshine law. Prepare orders, settlement agreements and other legal documents. Responsible for board and commission directives. Complete data entry into the licensure system. Assist legal counsels in research, preparation and presentation of documents. Attends all board and commission meetings. Qualifications - All you need for success What we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications An Associate degree in paralegal studies or closely related field; one-three years of experience in a legal environment preferably in reviewing official documents such as claims, applications, or legal documentation; and a paralegal certification; OR five or more years of experience in a legal environment. Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in the areas of business or public administration may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Lack of post ‐ secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
