Job Description

Recent College Grads Invited to Apply! Receive on-the-job training in a corporate environment while learning court processes, litigation, and negotiation skills. This is an on-site, full-time position that pays $37K - $42K per year. There are also incentive & bonus opportunities in addition to the base salary. The average incentive paid last year for this position was $4000.00. This position is responsible for evaluating candidates for "suit-on-note" actions to obtain a money judgment and then processing all judgments within specified timelines. Responsible for working directly with assigned attorneys to follow-up and track judgments, to monitor and manage attorney performance on referred files and to resolve delays or issues. The position is assigned accounts based on region.
Responsibilities and Duties:
§ Loan & credit analysis to determine suit worthiness and collection strategy § Monitoring judgment process while resolving delays or issues § Manage appropriate attorney performance to ensure compliance with standards and timelines § Thoroughly review & analyze judgment documents and work with attorneys to meet deadlines § Review disputed/ "answer filed" cases & recommend next-steps on proceeding / resolving § Regular communication with attorneys regarding loan level issues and/or localized court rules/regulations § Skip trace and locate borrowers and borrowers' assets as necessary § Skip trace and locate judgment debtors' assets for attachment/garnishment § Document the system with appropriate action and/or follow up on each file § Respond to all email and phone communications within 24 hours § Ability to work under pressure § Solid team player, good group dynamics § Demonstrated sense of urgency § Other duties as assigned •Familiarity with BlackKnight products (MSP, Desktop) a plus but not required•
