The Team You Will be Joining You will be joining the financial and administrative division of a vital state agency dedicated to disaster response, homeland security, and public safety coordination. Working in a quiet, spacious office environment, you will collaborate directly with executive leadership, project managers, and agency legal counsel to ensure compliance and smooth operational workflows. Major Duties Conduct legal research on current laws, regulations, and statutes to support operational needs. Process, review, and coordinate response efforts for agency HIPAA requests. Liaise between division leadership and legal personnel to maintain clear project updates. Assist with administrative coordination and document preparation across key departments. What Are We Looking For Prior experience as a legal assistant, law clerk, or paralegal (state agency experience preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong research and communication skills with high attention to detail. Ability to pass a soft security check for site access.
