Job Description

Full-service law firm serving individual and business clients through an interdisciplinary and team-based approach. We currently seek a full-time general Litigation Paralegal (experience preferred) in our Syracuse office and invite candidates from historically underrepresented groups in the legal community to apply. Primary Responsibilities will include working with attorneys in the following areas: Assist attorney in all phases of general litigation cases Preparing and filing documents with state and federal courts Familiarity with eDiscovery and eDiscovery software preferred Support attorneys during trials and hearings, including organizing exhibits, preparing witnesses, and maintaining accurate records Act as a liaison between the firm, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, communicating case updates, scheduling matters and relaying of information Foster a collaborative work environment by actively engaging with attorneys, fellow paralegals and law clerks, sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the firm's legal practice.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies or a related field is preferred 3+ years of experience as paralegal in a law firm is preferred Professional approach to work with focus on client service; strong indicators are excellent communications skills, attention to detail, follow-up, and initiative to complete tasks independently Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing work priorities Possess good organizational skills, judgment, and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Experience with Microsoft Office suite, in particular Word and Excel #INDW3
