We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to support a fast-paced legal team in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. This role will contribute to contract administration, legal documentation, compliance support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in corporate and commercial legal work, exercises sound judgment, and stays highly organized while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and refine a wide variety of legal agreements, including confidentiality agreements, engagement documents, vendor contracts, consulting arrangements, and other commercial documentation for the firm and its portfolio companies.
- Help manage fund formation activities by tracking progress, organizing related materials, and assisting with the completion of supporting legal paperwork.
- Build and maintain organized repositories for contracts, policies, and reference materials, including guidance resources for commonly negotiated terms.
- Assist with compliance-related documentation and record retention to help meet regulatory and internal governance obligations.
- Partner with the legal team on priority initiatives and cross-functional projects that require research, coordination, and document support.
- Facilitate communication and workflow between internal counsel, external law firms, and other third-party service providers.
- Monitor multiple legal matters at once, helping ensure deadlines, approvals, and documentation requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- At least 3 years of paralegal experience is required.
- Background in financial services, such as private equity, asset management, banking, or a comparable regulated environment, or experience supporting those clients within a law firm, is required.
- Proven ability to draft, review, and organize contracts and other legal documents.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage several assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with experienced, detail-oriented judgment.
- Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AI-enabled workplace tools, and document or contract management platforms.
- A paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree, experience supporting an in-house legal team, and familiarity with fund formation or private equity structures are preferred.
