Job Description

Benefits:
401(k) Health insurance Paid time off
  • Handle all aspects of a real estate closing, including issuing title commitments, CPLs, title policies, and all pre and post-closing work.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents.
  • Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness. Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a real estate paralegal.
  • Experience issuing title commitments, title policies, HUD/CDs, reviewing title documents, and communicating with clients/lenders re: real estate closings.
Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Previous experience as a real estate paralegal is required. Matthews Law, LLC is a small, boutique law firm in Mt. Pleasant that specializes in real estate closings and the paralegal will work closely with the attorneys on every file.
