Full Job Description Duties:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
  • Manage attorney calendars and deadlines
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents for mailing or electronic filing
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
Experience:
  • Prior litigation experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Skills:
  • Litigate:
    Experience in assisting with litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Phone etiquette: Excellent phone skills with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Contract:
    Familiarity with contract drafting and review.
  • Clerical:
    Strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Legal case management: Proficiency in using legal case management software to track case progress and deadlines.
Salary is based on experience.
