Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a legal operations initiative in Houston, Texas. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who is comfortable balancing administrative coordination with document-focused legal support. The role will contribute to project execution, improve data accuracy, and assist with workflow-related requests that require careful review and follow-through.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and update legal records to improve data quality, consistency, and usability across firm systems.
  • Manage requests to resend DocuSign envelopes, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking of document status.
  • Provide day-to-day support for legal operations projects by coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and resolving routine issues.
  • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with established legal and administrative standards.
  • Assist with process-driven administrative work that supports attorneys, legal staff, and operational teams.
  • Help maintain orderly documentation and case-related materials within case management or legal support systems.
  • Contribute to project-related reporting, follow-up activities, and documentation needed to keep workstreams moving efficiently. Requirements
  • Prior experience in a paralegal or legal support role with exposure to document review and administrative legal processes.
  • Working knowledge of litigation support functions, including discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation.
  • Familiarity with case management software and the ability to maintain accurate legal records within structured systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and handle sensitive information carefully.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across legal and operational teams.
  • Ability to manage repetitive process-oriented tasks while applying sound judgment when legal review is needed.
