Per Diem:

$1,121.40/week for candidates living 100+ miles from the jobsite, including after conversion. Important Location Requirement Candidates must be willing to travel or relocate to Dateland, AZ and work on-site 5 days per week at least. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Safety Manager to provide senior-level Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) leadership for complex construction and renewable energy projects. The Senior Site Safety Manager will develop and implement site-specific safety programs, ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards, monitor jobsite conditions, lead incident prevention and investigation efforts, and partner closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction safety experience, strong leadership capabilities, and experience supporting renewable energy construction projects , including solar, battery storage, wind, or similar projects. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Safety Plan and Safety Roadmap . Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations . Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure compliance with project safety requirements. Lead incident and injury investigations , including root-cause analysis and corrective-action implementation. Prepare and submit weekly safety reports, including Total Case Incident Reports (TCIR) . Support and participate in weekly toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field safety activities. Assist with safety training and promote a strong, proactive safety culture. Identify jobsite hazards and work with project leadership to implement appropriate corrective measures. Provide senior-level EHS leadership, guidance, and mentorship to site teams and field personnel. Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address safety risks. Support safety activities associated with renewable energy construction, including solar, battery storage, wind, and related infrastructure . Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety performance, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention. Maintain accurate safety documentation and ensure timely reporting of safety metrics and incidents. Required Qualifications 10+ years of EHS/Safety experience in construction . 5+ years of EHS experience in renewable energy construction , including solar, battery storage, wind, or similar projects. Some flexibility may be considered for candidates with highly relevant experience. High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. OSHA 30 Construction certification required. CPR/First Aid certification required; trainer certification preferred. Strong knowledge of applicable construction safety standards, including NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI . Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with project leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Willingness to work 100% on-site, 5 days per week in Dateland, AZ . Additional Qualification Candidates must possess at least two (2) of the following: Current CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification. Current CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification. EHS-related degree from an accredited institution. 10+ years of experience as an EHS Supervisor or EHS Manager . Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a senior-level construction safety professional who can operate independently in a demanding field environment and provide strong safety leadership across large-scale renewable energy construction projects. Candidates with experience in solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), wind, electrical construction, utility-scale projects, or other complex renewable energy construction environments are encouraged to apply.
