Full Job Description Job Description:
Assist the Safety Manager and the Transportation Manager in leading a fleet of 25+ drivers, routinely review ELDs for compliance, safety, equipment issues and provide on time delivery status updates to the office/dispatcher. Monitor equipment and logs for service/maintenance needs and coordinate repairs. Monitor, evaluate and resolve driver compliance with licensing, medical cards, violations or out of service issues. Support the company goals of "safety first and compliance always" building relationships with the drivers and employees. Routinely providing training, coaching, and organizing quarterly safety training for all employees. Identify and implement special training needs related to DOT safety and compliance. Coordinate annual MVR reporting, DOT random drug testing and employee reviews related to safety and compliance. We are looking for leaders to help develop tracking and reporting on the items listed as well as grow this department. You will also act as a Driver Manager leading your assigned drivers (3-6 drivers) and manage driver availability to maximize productivity of the fleet. Routinely review assigned areas and find ways to maximize profitability. This includes dispatch, coordinate, confirm and set-up loads for your assigned drivers, this includes payroll and duties found in the Driver Manager job responsibilities.

What you need to bring 3+ years' experience in a related or similar position Commercial Driver License is required with 5 years experience. Must be able to lead others Must possess exceptional communication skills Must be proficient on a computer with Microsoft Office skills Must be able to multi-task Must be able to work in high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment Must be able to develop the position and provide reporting as required and requested This position reports to the office in Goodyear, AZ usually M-F 10am•630pm with occasional weekend hours. to be assigned as needed. Usually working 40+ hours per week in the office and does have additional on call responsibilities•after hours assisting drivers with issues that cannot wait until normal business hours
Wage Range:
55000.00•75000.00 per year
General Description of Benefits:
