We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, working with employees and project teams, identifying hazards, and helping ensure everyone goes home safely each day. Responsibilities Promote a strong zero-injury safety culture Conduct and document jobsite safety inspections Provide safety orientations for new employees Lead and participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks Review pre-task plans and job hazard analyses Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken Stop unsafe work or practice when necessary Coach employees on safe work practices Promote near-miss and hazard reporting Provide safety training to field employees Assist project teams with safety planning Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements Investigate incidents, complete required reports, and ensure employees understand corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from happening again. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation Communicate safety concerns and trends to management Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, field employees, and subcontractors Visit local project sites and audit Qualifications 3+ years of construction safety experience Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
