About Our Client My client is a major heavy civil and utility contractor base in NJ with a footprint across the northeast. Job Description Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify and address potential hazards. Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors. Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for preventive measures. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a culture of safety. Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and readily available. Stay updated on industry safety standards and regulations. The Successful Applicant A successful Safety Coordinator should have: Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry. Experience conducting safety inspections and implementing safety programs. Strong communication and training skills. Ability to investigate and document safety incidents effectively. Proficiency in maintaining accurate safety records and reports. Commitment to fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
Preferred:
