Position Summary Reporting directly to the Safety Manager, the EHS Administrator manages safety compliance reporting for the company's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs. This role collaborates with the safety team and store management to collect, prepare, and submit required documentation to state and federal agencies in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance records, helping implement safety policies, and serving as the Project Manager for the Safety Initiatives Partners. Primary Responsibilities Store Support & Program Management Fields incoming EHS calls and emails from store personnel and provides technical safety and health support. Manages and maintains the Safety Department email. Collects, manages, and organizes lift inspection reports for all states and coordinates lift repairs and maintenance. Manages business-to-business and third-party contractor prequalification requirements. Assists with waste tire hauling certificates and program compliance. Provides store management with guidance on OSHA non-compliant facility review findings. Completes additional projects as needed. Reporting Files state-required compliance permits and mandated reports accurately and on time, including reports for state fire marshals, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the EPA, and CERS. Completes business-to-business contractor prequalification packets. Education Builds knowledge in Environmental Health and Safety through training with the Safety Manager and participation in online and field training courses provided by OSHA and other state and federal programs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong administrative and organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. General understanding of OSHA requirements, state reporting procedures, and data analysis. OSHA-sponsored training is preferred. Additional Requirements This position is primarily office-based. Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in varying weather conditions when traveling. A background check and pre-employment drug test are required.
