Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Manager to lead our organization's health, safety, and environmental initiatives, as well as monitor all DOT-related matters. In this role, you will develop, implement, and oversee safety and compliance programs that promote a secure and compliant workplace environment. You will assist with insurance requirements and renewals, managing records for sub-contractors, maintaining USDOT compliance, and any other related tasks as needed. Pay will be determined based on experience. Experience Proven experience in the hauling industry. Strong background in safety training. Excellent organization and report writing skills coupled with the ability to analyze data for continuous improvement initiatives. Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, OSHA Safety Certification, or equivalent are highly desirable.
