You can submit a referral through the Suru mobile app or web app. Suru then confirms the patient's interest, checks insurance eligibility, and arranges a Telehealth evaluation with the appropriate licensed PT or OT. When the patient is clinically ready for follow-up treatment, you may continue seeing the patient in the home. Suru can also notify you when other patients become available in your service area. Referring a patient is simple:

submit the information, and Suru handles eligibility, intake, and the telehealth evaluation before follow-up care begins. Then we hand it back to you to continue care - usually within 3 days. Scheduling and care delivery are flexible. Suru handles intake, eligibility, evaluations, and billing. Visit notes can usually be submitted by voice recording in about one minute. Clinicians choose which available cases to accept.

Pay Rate:

Clinicians are paid per completed eligible visit. Suru will do its best to match your current home-health or per-visit rate. Direct deposit into your bank every single week. Is Suru a Home Health Agency? No! We are the ONLY outpatient at home provider that works directly with PTAs and OTAs! Because we are a not home health agency, we flip the script: no more limited visits, no more complaints about cutting off services. Eligible patients LOVE our system and are grateful to the clinicians who onboard them to our network. Onboarding is completed through the Suru mobile app or web app. The app collects your professional and business information, service area, availability, and desired rate. Once you are ready to treat, Suru notifies you when a patient is available in your area or when a patient you referred is ready for the next step. Referrals are optional and unpaid. Referring a patient does not guarantee or prioritize an assignment, and patients remain free to choose their provider. Suru never pays for referrals. Suru clinicians work as 1099 independent contractors. An LLC is not required, but onboarding requires an active California professional license and a local business license before treating patients.
