The Barr-Nunn Safety Department is looking for a team member who recognizes the value of safety in transportation. The right candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced enviroment while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Our Safety Assistant must be a flexible, team-player willing to help where needed.

Excel Main Job Responsibilities:

• Lead on inbound safety calls
• Schedule and track pre-employment DOT physicals and drug screens
• Schedule random drug screens
• Document damaged equipment
• Maintain online fleet safety training platform
• Manage and order safety supplies
• Track and document spotted lantern fly reports
• Complete safety checklists with drivers (high value loads, etc)
• Organize the monthly newsletter (Safety)
• Assist with other safety duties as assigned
