With over twenty five years of collective experience in the commercial and general industry markets, Essential Safety Partners is dedicated to generating results and building lasting relationships with their clients. Role Description This is a permanent full-time hybrid role for a Safety Consultant, located in the greater Baton Rouge, LA area with some flexibility for remote work. The Safety Consultant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including interacting with clients, safety auditing, occupational health and safety training, policy/procedure development and online qualification program management (ISN, Avetta, etc.). Other responsibilities may include managing customer projects, investigating incidents, claims management, and regulatory compliance agency inspections (OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred Relevant certifications such as CHST, CSST, or COSS recommended; GSP, ASP, or CSP preferred Skills for this job typically require a minimum of 3 years experience in construction or general industry Experience in commercial building construction (general and/or trade contracting) preferred Existing knowledge of 1926 and 1910 regulations Experience in developing and presenting safety training Experience in ISNetworld, Avetta, & other qualification programs preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills (
Bilingual:
