Job Description

Full-time Onsite Job Summary :
Responsible for leading the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives to ensure continual improvement in HSE performance, achieving and maintaining high levels of operational compliance with regulatory, business, and other requirements, and promoting and maintaining safe healthy work environments for all employees within a Cactus Wellhead fixed facility and the dispersed workforce supporting the respective service area.
Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities :
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Promotes a learning culture within the business to reduce the HSE risks and ensure a safe and compliant work environments for associates Assists in the development and maintenance of web-based HSE databases for respective region, including but not limited to employee set-up in training database, event entry in incident tracking database, SDS administration in hazard communication database, and data entry in customer required databases Design and deliver training and competence assurance materials based on HSE policies, procedures and work instructions for all levels in the organization Ensure HSE corrective actions are completed and closed in a timely manner for facilities within respected region Participate in the technical and resource planning of HSE initiatives and support line management to fulfill their HSE duties Participate in HSE workplace inspections, behavior based observations and HSE MS audits to identify HSE nonconformities, defects and system deficiencies Facilitates learning events for significant events and injury cases Reinforces safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improves enthusiasm and morale Practices safe work habits and complies with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations. Special projects or assignments as directed by management Multi Branch oversight visits may be required. Customer meetings and field site visits are routinely conducted. Travel to customer sites to conduct incident investigations is required.
Education, Training, Experience :
Bachelor's degree (BS) in in technical field (engineering/science, environmental science, industrial hygiene, occupational safety and health sciences) with minimum 5 years of direct experience in health & safety management and environmental compliance.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations :
ASP, OHST or equivalent.

Working knowledge of HSE Management System Audits HSE Compliance Audits Documentation Development, Control & Record Keeping;
Human Performance, Incident/Accident Investigations Injury Case Management Behavior Based Safety, HSE Training Development & Implementation Environmental Aspects, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment Intermediate Computer Skills Intermediate Language Skills, Intermediate Mathematical Skills and Intermediate Reasoning Ability Supervisory Responsibilities :
This job may have direct supervisory responsibilities. Indirectly, must be able to influence and use persuasive skills to advise Branch Management regarding HSE policy and execution.
