The EH & S Manager ensures a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and maintaining safety policies in compliance with OSHA guidelines. Responsibilities include conducting audits, investigating incidents, managing Workers' Compensation cases, and providing employee training. This role works closely with personnel across the organization to identify hazards and promote a strong safety culture.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by collaborating with personnel.

Monitor facilities and crews for OSHA compliance and accident prevention.

Investigate incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Conduct safety audits in-house and on construction sites.

Manage Workers' Compensation cases, including documentation and follow-ups.

Develop and implement corporate safety programs and policies.

Order and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.

Inspect safety equipment for compliance and functionality.

Conduct OSHA-required annual safety training for employees.

Travel as needed for training, audits, and inspections. Qualifications And Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Safety/Safety Management 2 - 5 years of experience working in a safety capacity is preferred Computer literacy is a must {Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Organized and detail oriented to self-manage projects and priorities Ability to speak Spanish is not required but would be a definite plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move around facilities and job sites for long periods.

Lift and carry safety equipment and PPE up to 25 pounds.

Work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor and industrial settings.

Wear required PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and respiratory protection. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Travel as needed for site inspections and training.
