Position Description:
- Develops, proposes and implements EHS processes and/or methods.
- Plans and accomplishes roll out of EHS programs or projects, and monitors respective milestone in related organization.
- Analyses and monitors adherence to EHS standards in assigned organizations, and prepares regular EHS reporting.
- Analyzes and reports on changes in relevant EHS laws and regulations, and recommend changes for internal standards.
- Contributes to internal and external EHS audits, in support of accountable EHS officer.
- Prepares regular external EHS reporting for official authorities, or for internal stakeholder.
- Maintains operational contact to external authorities.
- Trains employees and management.
- Keeps abreast with all respective regulations and standards in regional or local law.

Key Responsibilities Support EHS programs for field service operations across the U.S. and Canada Develop, implement, and improve safety programs related to high-risk service activities

Incident investigations Root cause analysis Risk assessments Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) Pre-task planning activities Assist with troubleshooting safety issues and corrective actions Partner with field teams to improve safety performance and program adoption Support safety compliance and operational improvements Primary Hazards & Technical Focus Areas Candidates should have hands-on experience with high-hazard safety environments , particularly: Electrical Safety Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Machine Guarding Working at Heights Cryogenic Gases/Materials Asphyxiation risks Frostbite/tissue damage risks Equipment servicing and maintenance safety Field service safety operations Most Important Technical Experience The manager indicated the strongest focus is on: Electrical Safety Lockout/Tagout Machine Guarding/In-running nip point hazards Working-at-heights and cryogenic hazards are important but apply to specific equipment modalities. Candidate ProfileRequired Experience Preferably 5+ years of EHS experience The manager specifically stated 2 years is not sufficient Experience in operational EHS roles rather than support functions Preferred Industry Backgrounds Strong consideration for candidates from: Field Service organizations Equipment service environments Manufacturing Food & Beverage Pharmaceuticals Utilities/Industrial services Companies such as Verizon, Otis Elevator, or similar service organizations Not Preferred Candidates whose experience is primarily: Facilities Management Corporate Security Sustainability Third-party facilities service providers (CBRE, JLL, etc.) The manager is specifically looking for a dedicated EHS professional , not someone whose primary background is in another discipline. Leadership & Soft Skills Although this is an Individual Contributor role , strong leadership traits are critical.
