The Contingent EHS Professional will help support the Delaware Production Operations team focusing specifically on the Construction and Production operations. The contingent EHS Professional will ensure the implementation of any current or new programs, to continually improve EHS activities while providing ongoing EHS technical support and guidance to field operations. The position requires a broad knowledge and understanding of EHS issues as it relates to oil and gas production and construction activities.

Work Conditions:

This position will be subject to all types of weather elements Be prepared to work 10-12 hours daily Possibility of visiting site locations on any given day of work This position does not provide transportation or housing

Responsibilities:

Set a high standard for safety performance while performing work on locations Work to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local government laws and regulations and company EHS requirements Participate in safety meetings/tail gate safety meetings and work with contractors to help solidify JHA's and Hazard recognition/mitigation Carry out complex EHS assignments independently Consult with peers and subordinates when they are in doubt as to how to safely approach any work-related job situation Conduct field safety evaluations and report findings and corrective actions to Delaware Production Operations team personnel in good safety habits Participate in investigating incidents that impact the environment or safety of employees, contractors or the public Develop, gather and maintain EHS data to compose EHS reports and regulatory documents Participate in EHS field reviews and training programs as may be required Maintain an open line of communication between self and Delaware Production Operations team and staff

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years operations experience in Health and Safety or Oil and Gas Construction or Production Operations Requires a thorough knowledge of EHS rules and regulations, best practices and standards High school education or GED Computer literate in

Artesia, New Mexico (Southeast New Mexico/West Texas and surrounding area)

Schedule:

5 on 2 off - 10 - 12 hour days Pay $52.20/

Hr Pay:

$52.20 per hour
