This position will perform a variety of tasks related to cleaning and maintaining all food production equipment. Surrounding areas will include the Production Floor, Packing Room, Oven Room, Warehouse, and Gift Production areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve daily Sanitation goals Maintain all equipment used by the Sanitation department. Work the last line of defense to eliminate all potential disease and illness from the production equipment, production areas, and other surrounding areas. Follow all safety procedures, report all safety issues to immediate supervisor, use safety gear as required. Disassemble, Clean, and reassemble machinery. Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance. Other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

Mon-Sun 8:00pm- 4:30am, with ONE weekend day (alternating 7-day schedule, never working both Sat & Sun in same week)

Education/ Experience:

Prefer at least 1-year previous sanitation experience in a factory environment

Complexity:

This position has a variety of duties involving equipment and people. Must have the ability to meet deadlines, be exacting in performance, and work well under pressure. Must be able to handle multiple routine tasks and follow specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely.

Working Conditions:

Most of the time will be spent in a factory environment with wet, slippery floors, working with and around various chemicals.

Physical Demands:

While performing duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle control, and to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to stand, walk, and stoop. The associate may be required to lift up to 50lbs and to push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.

Safety/ Hazards:

This position requires the ability to understand and follow policy and procedures of safety rules and regulations.
