Job Summary Join our dynamic transportation team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver, where your skills will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services. Your role is vital in maintaining transportation safety regulations, adhering to traffic laws, and delivering a positive experience for every rider. Duties Safely operate semi trucks in accordance with state and local laws. Transport tires to and from customers Follow all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or violations. Respond quickly to traffic changes or emergencies by implementing emergency stop procedures and defensive driving techniques. Maintain clear communication with logistics manager and team members using effective verbal and written communication, and teams Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips, report any mechanical issues promptly, and perform basic vehicle maintenance as needed. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with at least 2 years of driving experience Proven experience in semi operation with similar freight hauling preferred. Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, emergency response procedures for transportation, and transportation safety regulations. Ability to hook up and up hook trailers Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse demographics of customers Ability to respond quickly to traffic changes while maintaining safety standards on the road.
