The Environmental & Safety Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization complies with all environmental regulations and safety standards across its operations within the United States. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive environmental and safety programs that minimize risks to employees, the community, and the environment. The coordinator will conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental compliance and workplace safety coordination. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and other relevant federal and state environmental and safety laws. Proven ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Excellent communication skills to effectively train employees and collaborate with multiple departments.
