The target market will be those companies in the commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality and healthcare industries. This position has a salary range of $80,000
  • $105,000+ depending on experience Job Responsibilities Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of new systems, system modifications and upgrades by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and outlined marketing strategies.
Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicating effectively to educate the customer about AFPG's capabilities. Ability to layout a code compliant fire life safety system including but not limited to all valves, pumps, tanks, piping, and sprinkler heads that is hydraulically compliant while meeting the associated fire hazard for the property. Create accurate estimates and proposals that meet customer's needs. Strong use of customer and project selection to ensure we are pursuing desirable work that fits AFPG's budget, schedule, business plan, and expertise. Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan. Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure we meet or exceed the expectations of our customers. Support other AFPG Teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory. Meet the key objectives of the annual commission plan. Job Qualifications Three to eight plus years' experience in the fire protection sales industry is preferred but not required. Ability to create local and distance relationships with General Contractors, owners, and direct end users. Strong prospecting skills. Proven ability to close. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills NICET certification is a plus Must pass a post-offer drug test, background and reference checks.
