Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to champion our commitment to workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory standards. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and root cause analyses to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Lead safety training sessions covering OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, first aid (including CPR), workplace safety protocols, and environmental management systems. Ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations, environmental health standards, workers' compensation law, and occupational health requirements across all operations. Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed report writing, and track corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Oversee the proper storage, handling, disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations. Collaborate with management to foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement in environmental management systems. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices. Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, EPA environmental standards, hazardous materials regulations, and workers' compensation law. Experience conducting hazard assessments, root cause analysis, and incident investigations. Strong background in environmental compliance management and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production settings. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex safety information clearly. Prior experience delivering training & development programs related to occupational health and environmental health topics. Certifications such as First Aid (including CPR), OSHA 30-hour or 40-hour training preferred; relevant environmental or safety certifications are a plus.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
