Experience in leading or maintaining strong EHS programs and safety culture initiatives aligned with
OSHA/EPA
compliance Knowledge of workers' compensation management , including return-to-work and light-duty programs Ability to develop or maintain and implement safety improvements that reduce incidents and enhance workplace conditions Strong understanding of chemical safety, SDS, and industrial hygiene principles Experience with hazardous waste handling, labeling, and regulatory compliance Hands-on involvement in environmental monitoring (e.g., wastewater sampling) and audits Ability to lead safety training and drive accountability across teams Ability to climb ladders and work hands-on the plant floor when and where required Candidates should have Metrics on resume as it relates to the above. Looking for someone that has either stepped into a mess and cleaned it up or maintained a clean strong safety program. Looking for folks with a passion for EHS.
Job Requirments:
3-5 years of experience in EHS Role within Manufacturing Environment. Strong in Environmental Safety for Manufacturing (Chemicals, Hazardous Waste, Etc.) Strong Attention to detail Good Communication Skills - Verbal and Written Leadership skills Must be okay with working any shift and travelling as necessary. Able to work OT. Current RCRA, DOT, and OSHA Certifications are preferred Global EHS Compliance and Regulations preferred. US & EU Compliance Auditor Certification a plus Medical, Vision, Hearing, and Color Assessments required.
