Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Security Manager to lead our security operations and ensure the safety and protection of our facilities, personnel, and assets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee comprehensive security strategies, manage a dedicated team, and implement best practices in physical and operational security. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong background in law enforcement, military experience, or security management. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee security policies and procedures aligned with industry regulations and organizational standards. Manage daily security operations, including access control systems, surveillance equipment, and emergency response protocols. Lead and train security personnel to ensure high performance in conflict management, customer service, and operational tasks. Perform background checks on new hires and conduct regular audits of security systems to maintain compliance with security regulations. Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during incidents or investigations to ensure swift resolution. Conduct physical security assessments, surveillance monitoring, and routine patrols to identify vulnerabilities. Prepare detailed incident reports, security logs, and compliance documentation for internal review and audits. Skills Proven experience in security management, law enforcement, or military service with strong leadership capabilities. Knowledge of security systems including access control systems, CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and other electronic security measures. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document incidents accurately and clearly. Strong understanding of emergency response procedures such as first aid and CPR certification. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and maintaining physical security standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report creation, data analysis, and communication purposes. Exceptional conflict management skills combined with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Familiarity with compliance standards related to physical security regulations and operational management best practices.
