Job Position:
Security Guard Position Summary The Security Officer's primary role is to provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for casino guests, company employees, and vendors. The Security Guard's responsibility is to patrol assigned areas and enforce company security policy and procedures to protect company property. All job duties are performed in accordance with applicable laws, gaming regulations, company policies procedures while promoting Crystal Casino's commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. Essential Responsibilities Patrol, Monitor, and Secure all designated areas to enforce company security policy and procedures.- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
- Enforce gaming regulations, and applicable laws.
- Provide escort services to casino guests, and employees as requested.
- Maintain effective communication with Security personnel, Surveillance team members, management, and other departments as requested.
- Immediately report security and safety concerns or suspicious activity to management.
- Ensure assigned work areas and security equipment remain organized, secure, and operational.
- Assist with investigations involving casino guest incidents, employee incidents, accidents, and security concerns.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid Security Guard Card.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in casino gaming operations, security, military law enforcement, or hospitality is preferred. Must be available to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments as business needs require. necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to wear and effectively operate communication equipment, including a radio earpiece.
- This position requires a considerable amount of walking to properly monitor the exterior parking lots.
- Must be able to remain focused and professional while managing multiple priorities and responding to emergencies.
- The work is performed throughout the casino grounds, including indoor gaming areas, offices, parking lots, and various outdoor locations.
- Must possess and maintain a valid BSIS Security Guard Card or Proprietary Private Security Officer registration, as applicable.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver License with an acceptable driving record.
