Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Safety & Security, the Security Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration of Patelco's physical security programs and systems, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm monitoring. This role focuses on operational execution, coordination, and administrative support across security and safety programs, while escalating complex issues and supporting compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Support administration of physical security systems including access control, alarms, and video systems. Process and fulfill access requests, including badge creation, changes, and deactivations. Maintain accurate records and documentation of security requests, incidents, and system activity (e.g., ticketing systems such as Jira). Conduct initial review of video footage and escalate complex investigations to senior staff. Assist with monitoring and responding to alarms and incident reports. Coordinate with contracted security personnel to ensure adherence to procedures and service expectations. Perform basic audits of badging activity and access control accuracy. Provide frontline support to employees regarding security and safety inquiries (in person, phone, or virtual). Assist with safety initiatives such as evacuation drills and safety committee activities. Support tracking of compliance with Health & Safety, OSHA/Cal-OSHA requirements in partnership with HR. Maintain and update security procedures, documentation, and SOPs. Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience (2-4 years in security, facilities, or related field preferred) Exposure to physical security systems (e.g., access control, video systems) preferred Experience with ticketing or tracking systems preferred Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Physical Activities/Requirements Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds as needed On-site role based in Dublin, CA headquarters

Target Base Pay:
