This dynamic role involves maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, access control, and emergency response. As an Armed Security Guard, you will serve as the first line of defense against potential threats, ensuring safety while providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff alike. Your expertise in security protocols, law enforcement collaboration, and conflict management will be essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify security breaches or hazards. Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations. Respond swiftly to incidents by writing detailed incident reports and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Execute manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for security equipment or supplies.
Requirements Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement or related fields demonstrating strong physical security knowledge. Valid firearm handling certification along with Taser and other non-lethal weapon training. Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures. Familiarity with surveillance tools such as CCTV systems and access control systems. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely. Strong communication skills for incident report writing and customer service interactions.
