What you will be doing Conducts him or herself in accordance with all Department of Business and Professional Regulation standards and the Company's internal policies and procedures. Patrols gaming areas and grounds to establish security presence and reports all unusual situations and suspicious persons. Monitors through inspection and observations all activities within the facility. Observes, records and reports any unusual incidents and occurrences including medical situations. Provides excellent customer service to ensure positive guest experiences. Knowledgeable of all current marketing events happening to promote and assist our patrons; Stands post to ensure alertness in the casino. All other duties assigned. The ideal candidate for this position High School Diploma preferred. Class 'D' License preferable. 1+ years of previous security experience preferred. Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check. Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks. Must be willing to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form. Must be willing to stand for long durations of time. Must be willing to respond calmly to emergency situations. Must be willing to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays. May be required to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted. Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check. Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.
