In this vital overnight role, you will ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets through vigilant surveillance, effective access control, and prompt emergency response. Responsibilities Monitor premises through patrols, and physical security checks to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards. Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Perform routine security inspections to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry. Respond swiftly to emergency situations by following established protocols for fire safety, medical incidents, or security breaches. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences with clarity and accuracy for future review. Perform conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly while maintaining safety for all parties involved. Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing relevant information and support as required. Heavy communication with the nightly hotel team, and Hotel General Manager and Area Manager Experience Proven experience in physical security roles such as military service, law enforcement, or private security is highly desirable. Familiarity with emergency response procedures is essential. Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and fire safety demonstrates readiness to handle medical emergencies effectively. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Strong skills in incident report writing, conflict management, and conflict de-escalation are crucial for success in this role.
