You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through patrols, access control, incident response, and effective conflict management. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure physical security measures are upheld Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms or disturbances, following established emergency response procedures Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the onboarding or vetting process Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity across the facility and surrounding areas De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques and ensure safety for all parties involved Requirements Valid armed security license or certification as required by local regulations; firearm handling experience preferred Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security roles involving physical security and surveillance Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and maintaining physical endurance during long shifts Knowledge of emergency response procedures including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and first aid techniques Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity for legal or investigative purposes Familiarity with access control systems, firearm handling, taser use, and heavy lifting equipment Strong customer service skills combined with conflict de-escalation abilities to maintain a professional environment under pressure Commitment to compliance with all security regulations and policies while performing patrols and enforcing safety protocols Embrace this opportunity to be a crucial part of a dedicated security team committed to safety excellence.
