Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Mobility in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist guests, visitors, and team members with professionalism. You will document activities using computer or tablet technology and may operate a vehicle as part of patrol responsibilities. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel guest areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and support adherence to property rules, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to hotel management. Document incidents, patrol observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
