• 15:00 to 23:00 Your Responsibilities As a Retail Security Officer you will be responsible for:
• Act as a highly visible security presence to protect colleagues, customers, stock, and company assets
• Proactively identify and prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss
• Support the delivery of store loss prevention strategies and contribute to shrinkage reduction
• Monitor and respond appropriately to suspicious activity and security incidents
• Conduct investigations and gather relevant information relating to theft and loss prevention incidents
• Produce accurate and detailed incident reports using digital reporting systems
• Build positive working relationships with store management and retail teams
• Ensure all site security procedures and client requirements are followed at all times
• Respond effectively to emergencies, incidents, and fire evacuation procedures
• Conduct staff and contractor searches where required and authorised
• Maintain professional standards of appearance, conduct, and customer service at all times What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A valid SIA Security Guarding (SG) or Door Supervision (DS) licence
• Experience identifying and preventing theft, fraud, and stock loss
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills
• A professional, smart, and highly presentable approach
• Strong written skills with experience completing incident reports and documentation
• Confidence using digital reporting systems and mobile technology
