Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Daytime Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises during daylight hours. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents and respond swiftly to emergencies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding our facilities while engaging with a diverse community. Responsibilities Conducting foot patrols of site regularly to maintain order and establish a presence Conduct access control for vehicle and foot traffic Observe and Report Secure all exits, doors, and windows during shift and at end of shift Respond to alarms as required by client Create detailed Daily Activity Reports using company-provided software Provide a professional level of service to meet and exceed client expectations Requirements License and Reliable Vehicle 21+ years of age Pass a Cori (background check) Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime Excellent observation skills High School diploma or GED Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to interact confidently with staff and visitors Skills Preferred Experience as a security guard and or Military/Law Enforcement. Knowledge of legal guidance for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Tech-savvy Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense Expectations Ability to stand, walk, and climbs stairs for extended periods of time. Must be able to conduct interior and exterior foot patrols as needed. Dependable and reliable attendance record. Maintain a drug-free workplace. Customer Service oriented Excellent communication skills Ability to make decisions with limited supervision
