Job Description

Facility Monitor Midwest Sterilization is seeking a dependable and professional Facility Monitor to oversee the surveillance and security of our premises while helping protect our employees, visitors, and company assets. The ideal candidate will command respect and demonstrate sound judgment, strong observation skills, a consistently positive attitude, and exceptional interpersonal abilities. The Facility Monitor will play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure, and productive work environment by identifying and addressing potential safety and security concerns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Patrol the premises regularly to maintain order, security, and a visible presence. Monitor surveillance systems and activities throughout the facility. Inspect buildings, equipment, and company assets for potential security or safety concerns. Observe and report suspicious behavior or activities. Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation. Accurately document daily activities and incidents. Secure all exits and doors at the end of operations. Utilize electronic and manual access-control systems to protect company facilities and property. Ensure employee, visitor, and contractor sign-in and sign-out procedures are followed and remain in compliance. Distribute and manage ID badges as required. Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner. Skills and Qualifications Honest, accurate, dependable, and alert. Trained in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS). Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and security protocols. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to complete clear and legible reports. Exceptional self-control and situational awareness.
