Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, skid steer and forklifts to manage raw materials and finished products efficiently. Maintain and perform routine inspections on machinery including conveyors, crushers, and mixers to ensure optimal operation. Assist with mixture design and calibration for concrete production, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met. Conduct fabrication tasks using hand tools and welding techniques to repair or modify plant components as needed. Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including heavy lifting, power tool use, and equipment maintenance. Perform warehouse duties such as inventory management, material handling, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. Support construction industry standards by adhering to safety standards in production environments while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, skid steer, forklifts, or excavators within a manufacturing or construction setting. Knowledge of concrete mixer operation, mixture design, and basic machining processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and metalworking. Understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation, power tools, welding, and outdoor work environments. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is highly desirable to ensure smooth material handling processes.
