Description:
The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence is seeking Substitute Armed School Security Officers with the following qualifications:
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent valid New Jersey driver's license 25 years of service in a Law Enforcement and retired in good standing Must hold/obtain Armed SORA Certification Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention and crowd control Ability to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management Must pass psychological testing, drug evaluation, and a criminal history background check Possess and maintain a valid State of New Jersey Permit to Carry a
Handgun Responsibility:
To ensure the safety and security of students and staff. Responsible for patrolling school facilities and grounds to prevent disruptive or illegal actions, access to restricted areas, and theft or vandalism. Perform duties as per job description as well as any other duties assigned under the supervision of the Director of School Safety and Security, Superintendent or building
Principal Terms of Employment:
Per Diem Position Non-Tenure Track Hourly Rate $26.92 Benefits (if applicable, may include): Professional Development Opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
